I am currently 37 years old and have been tattooing for over 22
years. I began in Signapore under Richard from Jonny Two Thumbs tattoo
in 1985. After a few years, I opened a Jonny Two Thumbs branch in
Israel, my home country, which I ran for 8 years. Since that, I have
taken my craft throughout the world, as tattooing has allowed me
to combine my two passions for meeting people from all over the world,
yet having the common interest in tattooing regardless of where I
travel.
I try to be as diverse as possible with my talents and the works
I choose to do, but I think a lot of my original inspiration came
from traditional oriental artwork. After working all over the world
with people from many different cultures, I have tried to submerse
myself in the different styles and techniques that are practiced
all over the world.
For me, tattooing is not just a profession. It is a lifestyle that
I fell in love with a long time ago, and have not looked back since.
I hope this comes across in my artwork and in how I deal with making
each client satisfied with their tattoos, so they might one day appreciate
tattooing as much as I do.

Hey! I am Shane Ford, hailing from Edmonton, Alberta, where I grew
up the youngest of three siblings. I had a typical rural upbringing
on a farm, which was fun when you're a kid, and it gave me a lot
of time to draw and focus on my art. I have worked as an artist since
I can remember, and professionally since I was 15. I contracted myself
out airbrushing murals, one of which was a tattoo studio. The owner
saw my work and offered me an appenticeship as a tattoo artist when
I was 17, and took to it very well. Since that time, I have done
several hundred tattoos from little flowers to full back pieces,
and enjoy taking art to the next level. I love doing fine line, colour,
new school, graffiti, abstract, and grey shading.
